CNS Electromagnetic Analysis
CNS ELECTROMAGNETIC ANALYSIS
The effect on CNS Electromagnetic Systems of existing or planned obstacles which are around the airports evaluate by certified qualified staff as three steps.
Stage 1- Appraisal Phase Analysis:The goal in this phase is to identify possible obstacles that may have a negative effect on the signals radiated from the CNS systems.Appraisal Phase Analysises is based on 'Identified To Surface Of Building Restricted Areas' studies according to criteria defined from ICAO EUR DOC 015.
If any obstacle does not violate the to surface of building restricted areas, it will not have a negative impact on the CNS Systems and so there is no need to proceed to second and third stages of the study.Otherwise, this effect will need to be examined in detail for operational needs in line with the requirements.
Stage 2- Detailed Analysis: As a result of the first stage, if the potential negative effects of any disability on the CNS systems are identified, detailed numerical analysis is needed in terms of operational needs.
In the second stage, CNS analyzes will be carried out through simulation software of ICAO standards with international validity if it is found that surface of building restricted areas have been violated according to the previous stage report.
Technical Impact Analyses
Stage 3- Risk Reduction Movement Procedures: If the data obtained as a result of detailed analysis is found to cause unacceptable loss in system performance, risk-reduction movement procedures will be developed.
These are the movement procedures; Examples of these methods of movement are various system improvements or modifications to change the location and / or height of the obstacle and to eliminate performance losses.
